Private Heated Bedrooms at The Bunkhouse in Snowdonia Perfect for Bikers and Walkers

The accommodation was extremely basic. There were two of us sharing a bunkroom containing six bunks. If there'd been six of us it may have seemed better value (but would have been very cramped). As it was, it was the most expensive of all the accommodation we experienced on our trip and the least comfortable. Charging extra for towels, bike washing facilities and storage seemed penny-pinching.

Great set up. And good value for money.

Noise after 11pm

Having access to a kitchen as great! Also small deposit to hire all the equipment was easy - so much less to pack in the car!

Not so many plugs in the bunkhouse rooms. The hot water in the kitchen wasn’t working whilst there - but they were trying to repair it. Proper kettles would have been easier and quicker aswell.

I liked the space in the kitchen, the outside tables and the bunk beds.

The distance from the Bunkhouse and toilets was too far away

•There are no electric sockets in the room. You can't turn on things like fans. •We had to change the bedsheets by ourselves. They didn’t make the bed prior to the guests coming •Toilets smelled bad •The kitchen is dirty •You have to buy towels, towels are not included in the room •The door of the room was flimsy and had a hole on the bottom •Toilets are far away from the room. At night time it is really dark and scary. And when it rains it is a nightmare •There were no lights outside, it was pitch black
