Excellent location with views of the Loch. The hostel had everything you could possibly need and the communal kitchen was well equipped and very clean.

Rooms were small and a little dark

The facility does not offer breakfast, however there a shop next door where you can buy all breakfast stuff, en then prepare it in the grand kitchen which is available. In the evening, you can either eat in the restaurant next door (but it was fully booked), or take meals from the freezer, and prepare them in the kitchen (multiple ovens available). It's all based on the guests' honesty to report correctly what you ate, and to pay in the money box, or by credit card.

-Very small and narrow room -No dinning places around except one extremely expensive (ca. 70 pounds per evening per person)

Tiling on the floor had lots of holes where the grout had fallen out, and various bits of woodwork in the room were left bare - no varnish or paint, which might've ok for a while but will surely get grubby quite quickly and be difficult to clean. Staff were super helpful & friendly, but overall place needed a refurb. Expensive for a hostel compared to rest of UK, so it's not as if they don't have the funds to present it better.

Fantastic stay! Our bunk room was perfect to stay for the night after coming off the ferry from mull Lovely views from outdoor dining and great location for walks down to the loch They also had a little onsite shop which was perfect as the shop in town closes around 6pm
