Great location. The view is stunning. It’s a perfect distance from the main part of town; about a 12 minute walk away, so it feels quiet but still close. There’s a really good soda right across the street. The whole outside area of the hostel was nice, with plenty of hammocks to relax on. The lady working there was also kind and gave me suggestions of things to do when I checked in.

This place was a bit too rural for me, and I checked out a few days early because I wasn’t comfortable. The heat was unbearable with no AC, and the fan in the room wasn’t sufficient enough. There were crabs in the room, and I was told that this is normal during the rainy season. There were also a lot of bugs in the room. If you like camping, being completely immersed in nature, have a high tolerance for heat and humidity, and don’t mind direct exposure to crabs, bugs, and other wildlife, then you’ll probably have a great stay here. But if you want you accommodation to provide a barrier from the heat and wildlife, you should book elsewhere.
