The staff was amazing. Theresa, Tracy, and Sophia made my stay so comfortable. I felt like family! The old world vibes of the historical building made me feel right at home. The neighbourhood food options were also excellent!

This is a budget hostel in an older building in Vancouver. I have stayed here multiple times as I find it comfortable and convenient. Great location for getting around downtown Vancouver. Close to Sky trains and Seabus.

Personally I really like the St. Clair , but it's not the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. The facilities are fairly dated. Bring flipflops and your own pillowcase.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in a great location, this place is for you. The reviews accurately reflect the property. Since it’s an older building, there is a slight unusual smell, but it’s still acceptable. I also read some complaints about the noise, but I personally found it manageable. For a short stay of two or three nights, I think it’s fine.

The hygiene standards are quite poor. The shower areas smell like urine, and there was even a condom on the floor in one of the bathrooms. The staff could probably check and clean these areas more frequently. In addition, the beds are very noisy - if someone moves, you will definitely hear it.

Ett väldigt själfullt gammalt hus som har blivit ett hostel med personlighet! Trevlig personal! Jag läste recensionerna, de är i båda ändar av skalan. Till de som var negativa så kan jag säga att en mera antiseptisk upplevelse går att få på något nybyggt hotell för fem gånger priset… så schas iväg dit! Jag satsar på det anorlunda och personliga.
