Fabulous place with amazing hosts. Dinner is free if you stay on a Sunday night. Their meals were tasty and comforting. The location is right near the beach. They also organise excursions to local sites and activities (hikes, cultural tours) so it's a plus to be here. We also appreciated their eco-tourism consciousness and mindfulness of their local community and environmentally friendly practices.

I liked and appreciated everything. It's a pity we couldn't go on the hikes due to the excessive rain.

I loved everything about coffee shack adventure, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the advice they gave me and my kids to change into a room with nice ocean views that had so comfortable beds, the welcoming drinks they offered us and the tour around the premises, everything was just good.

I would be lying if there was anything that I disliked.

I liked the friendly staff. The food they cooked was exceptional; they sold breakfast lunch and dinner at affordable prices. We enjoyed the free dinner on Sunday and then had fish for dinner the next day, highly recommend it. It had all the facilities expected from a backpackers, such as social room/bar and outdoor communal areas. They also cleaned the rooms and bathrooms daily. The beautiful sandy beach is a 10-minute walk away where I had a great surf lesson. To get to the hole-in-the-wall I would suggest parking at the "First Group Hole in the Wall" hotel, from there it is a 15min walk up the path, turn left on a grass path, go through a forest area and then you have arrived; a guide was not needed, just be alert and safe. You can also ask hotel reception for directions. The hole in the wall is beautiful place to swim.

The main communal bathroom was well kept, however, there was no hot water, so we used the smaller and older bathrooms, which were dark and right next to the kitchen, but at least we didn't have to take a cold shower. The area is very rural. People will constantly try to sell you beads. Warning: At the hole in the wall, it was difficult to shake off gents who wanted to be our guide, even though we told them multiple times we didn't want a guide. Since we were two ladies, the "guide" kept saying it was unsafe to walk the simple path alone, he hovered near us, walking ahead, stopping when we stopped etc. Only once I had threatened to go back to the hotel did he leave us alone. If you want a guide make sure you have agreed on a price beforehand, if you don't want one, make sure they don't just "walk in front" of you, because in the end, they will claim to have guided you.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and guide you around the local area.
