De locatie is werkelijk prachtig!

Voor de prijs die je betaald hadden we meer verwacht: we hebben het personeel geen een keer zien glimlachen en vonden ze ook eigenlijk niet hartelijk en voelden ons niet heel erg welkom, vooral dat vonden we erg teleurstellend. Er kon geen goedemorgen vanaf. De wifi werkte ook niet en ondanks dat ik twee keer ernaar vroeg aan het personeel werd er ook enkel gezegd: het werkt vandaag niet. De temperatuur van de douche was onmogelijk te reguleren en de straal minimaal. Al met als vonden wij het geld niet waard en zouden we niet opnieuw boeken.

I liked the quiet atmosphere with all the plants and garden. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable with own light, socket and a locker. Big and clean bathroom. There is drinking water. The Cafe was serving really good food. The common areas were nice to socialize. Very good value for the money!

The location is awesome, right next to Laxman Jhula and close to many cafes and restaurants. I like the vibe of Indian Culture and it has a lot of space to hang if you want to be outside the room. The staff at the welcome desk are quite friendly. The room was spacious and quite clean. There is an in-house restaurant (please note it closes quite early though). The King Studio was very well-appointed and had all amenities one expects including plates, cutlery and a refrigerator. There is also a water filling station so one can cut down use of plastic bottles which I really appreciate.

More than dislikes, just a watch out for those booking the King Studio. The bed in the studio is on the mezzanine floor and you need to use stairs to go up and down. However, there are no railings or handholds on the stairs and the mezzanine is quite high, so a slip or fall from the stairs can be a bit dangerous. I slipped on my first night there when I wanted to use the bathroom in the night, but luckily it was just the last 3-4 steps and it was fine but from higher up it could have been much worse. Guests with small children or with reduced mobility should avoid this room for that reason. Ideally some sort of hand-hold or railing should be provided for increased safety.

I love going back to this place again and again as a solo traveller
