Hostal Las Cruces

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and was cleaned everyday. There was a good kitchen area, and lots of places to chill out relax. It was walking distance to the centre of Valladolid.

I would 100% stay in this hostel again if I was with friends or with a partner, but as a solo traveller it was hard to meet people as it was quiet.

Nice room with aircon and a fan. The room had 2 windows so we had enough light. Bathroom is pretty big. Wardrobe can be locked. Room was cleaned every day, breakfast was good and they even provided some breakfast for when we had to wake up early to go to the archeological sites. They gave us good tips about the city, what to do and where to go. It's a 20 min walk from the ADO bus station.

Shower doesn't have a lot of pressure (but this happened in most showers in Mexico), and we had some very small ants in the room. Not a big deal.

Good location, it is clean although old so shower, taps, floors etc could use a deep clean. It was very quiet. Air conditioning worked well. Wifi wasn't great on the second floor where our room was but I think it did on the main floor. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We only had one breakfast, pancakes and they were very good.

The first morning we had to leave before breakfast time so they said they'd make us toast. But we didn't get any because the people before us ate it all and there was no bread left, so we had coffee and bananas.

Close to city centre, very friendly owners, hot water boiler, nice balcony.

Bathroom: water drainage poor, instable WiFi

The staff were incredible. They were so kind and so helpful.

It definitely was more of a mature vibe rather than a hostel vibe, so meeting people was challenging and I wouldn't book this place as a backpacker but it's fantastic if you are a more mature traveller.

Nice location away from hustle and bustle. Good comfy bed and nice quiet hostel with a very chilled vibe. Helpful staff too and breakfast was delicious, they also cooked it early for us as we were going early to cenotes!

The staff are amazing and really helpful. Great breakfasts. The private room has a balcony with a great view, which is really nice! Excellent vibe from the hostal.
