Hostal Las Cruces

The staff was great, really helpful with tips on what to see and how to get around in the area. They had no issue with serving an early breakfast although it was limited to toasts with butter/jam/honey. There was space to hang your wet clothes outside.

The bathroom smelled really bad and there was hardly any hot water. It's not so close to the center / bus station, so if you're on foot, it can be tiring to get around in the heat.

we really enjoyed our stay. The dorm beds were private with curtains and beds were comfy. The breakfast included was a highlight, we had pancakes one day and quesadillas the next. we had to leave at 5.15am on our last morning to catch a flight and the staff prepared coffee and toast for us before we left which was lovely. The hostel has a real family feel and I would recommend without a doubt!

Just what I needed and was looking for, a central location near a plaza and the culture of Valladolid! Safe spot, easy parking, very friendly staff and guests made for a memorable experience. Staff went out of their way to have breakfast ready for my earlier than normal departure. Will return!

Nice quiet hostel at a convenient location in town. Has bikes for hire for a good price. Plenty of activities to be done in Valladolid.

One of the staff was especially helpful. The room was cozy, and the atmosphere was really homely and comforting.

One of the staff made a sexist remark that made me uncomfortable. This also happened to be after I'd been walking home with my partner and we got cat-called by men on the street, so it contributed to an unsafe vibe. But I knew the staff member didn't mean anything by it - it was just really thoughtless, especially in a city that doesn't always feel safe for women.

The hosts are offering great service, give lots of advice and the small breakfast is made fresh for you when you need it. Kitchen is well equipped, oil and basic spices are available.

One of the rooms has no windows (or they where sealed from outside). The AC keeps it cool, but if you need fresh air maybe check in advance if you can get into one of the other rooms.
