Woodlands Centre

The room was comfortable but the decor was a little dated. There is a lot of potential there but underutilised

I was hoping to use the laundry but the promised key was not where it was supposed to be. I was up early (hoping to do some laundry) but no key and it was too early to ask the manager/owner. I was back late and same thing - no key to dryer room and too late to ask.

Location was very close to the main commercial area. The warden was very helpful and friendly. Although I didn't actually meet her she responded promptly to any queries by messaging or phone call. The room was practical, clean and quiet. Everything I hoped for from this booking. All this for exceptional value! I would definitely choose to stay here if I were to visit the area again in the future.

Perhaps the bathroom was a little far from the rooms on the top floor. In the middle of the night I was conscious of disturbing other residents with opening and closing landing doors and creaking stairs and floorboards. Not a huge problem but it was on my mind .

Great location, not far from Betws-y-coed and the rest of Eyri, beds were clean and quite comfortable compared to some other hostel beds I’ve slept on. Staff were friendly and helpful, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a place that is better value for money, I’d definitely stay again.

It was very quiet when I went (May). Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, clean facilities, great location in a beautiful village, close to the amenities.

Facilities were a bit dated, but ok for the price.
