Really funky!

Just a bit far from the town to get food / market / going out at night - but thats fine as well, if i had a car would be super fine but walking can be a bit much going back and forth all the time

"Very good value for a hostel. Good facilities in quirky garden"

As a hostel , it was very good and very good value. It had a good shared shower, which was kept clean. Probably should advise visitors to bring soap etc, and towels are by donation to kangaroo charity. Shared toilet kept clean at all times. The quirky garden made for a pleasant back ground. Everyone staying there were friendly. The staff helpful and informative.

The facility was surrounded by barbed wire , which was more a reflection on the problem with drinking by some local residents. Its location also meant you had to walk past an area that carries a dont walk there after dark, again due to drinking by local residents. That said I always felt safe, but did not stay out long after dark.
