Great location, very helpful staff, cafe is good too, and the vibe is quite social!

Nothing really, if I have to say something I'd say the latches on the 6-bed dorm's lockers should be fixed.

Came with bags of work stress and going back with rejuvenated energies packed! A breathtaking memorable time with—uphill, downhill, treks, waterfalls, cafés Young Monk absolutely spoil you (aadat bigaad di!) with quality food served right at your table while you work. It is one of the best hostels we have ever stayed in, nailing everything from hygiene cleanliness to smooth logistics and work/hangout spaces. The hosts Roma and DJ are super kind helpful and approachable, bringing genuine joy to their hosting—you can tell they truly love what they do. The collective effort and labor of the entire team—the chefs, Shiva, Shubham, founders— makes Young Monk so special. From day one, seeing a woman founder co-hosting this space with her partner was an empowering feeling, and it instantly made the environment feel safe, comfortable, and inclusive. Love seeing woman claim spaces.. Finally, presence of Loona and Dumb Dumb added love and coziness to our stay! 🐾❤️

Food was great, the property owner gave great recommendations for things to see and do across the city- I liked how the owners are mindful of maintaining standards within the hostel and are very particular about the overall atmosphere offered to their guests. Would recommend to any one looking for slow travel/workation and have a relaxing fun holiday at Dharamkot

The bathrooms could be improved in terms of lighting and facilities

הודעה בעברית בהמשך The staff is exceptional. Warm and attentive to any need. The place is a hostel with a rustic atmosphere and the most spectacular view of the valley. We stayed in the deluxe room which is a pretty large bedroom + a living room. Has a kitchenette but no cooking facilities. The place is in upper Dharamkot and is a 9 minute walk to the main bazar area. It’s a steep walk up but totally doable. There are also steps within the premises to reach the room. המקום חביב עם נוף מטורף. הצוות נפלא רק אציין שהמקום לא ליד הבית חבד ומקום שבו מתאכסנים הישראלים. זה מרחק הליכה של 9 דקות עם ירידה/עליה תלולה אבל בהחלט אפשר ללכת
