UB Guesthouse & Tours - not for locals

Such a nice and lovely place. Perfect location, best tours and so helpful! Also good place to meet other solo travellers... Airport bus drops you off just 5 mins away by walk.

地点位置不错，下机场大巴可以15分钟走过去。免去乌兰巴托堵车和不便打车之苦。退房后可以存行李几个小时，还算给客人面子。

住宿太吵，半夜12点多，还有不少客人坐在厅里聊天，大声说笑，工作人员也不制止。 早晨起来也不停说话，不能很好休息。 厨房很小，感觉根本不能接纳第3个人，住的人多，转不开身，工作人员不太礼貌地提示不能拿到房间里吃东西，很尴尬。在厨房洗苹果时，还不让正常使用水龙头，正洗时有人过来把水龙头拧到最小水，淅淅沥沥的，不让正常用水，挺让人无语…… 如果不是位置好，没有选择这里的必要。 因为人多吧，前一天恨不能还催促你离店时间，让人不舒服。 房间面积很小，订的双床房，实际是个上下床，上下床也可以接受，但是上去时颤颤巍巍，梯子也感觉松动，很担心摔下去… 入住前要填表，隔3-4天入住，又填同样的表格，写护照号，签证号码等。挺耽误时间的，也不太理解。

Staff is very knowledgeable and can organize many things efficiently. The location is really great because is walking distance to nearly any attraction in Ulan Bator. Overall this is a convenient place that I would book again.

I recommend this place but the following are things for future guests to be aware of, regarding the tours: -The tour to Terelj national park goes just to the entrance of the park, around the turtle rock and a nearby monastery. The area is not wild (there are parking lots, shops, cattle) . Consider other options if you want to enjoy nature or hiking. -The driver of the tours may not speak English, so they cannot give you any insight about the places being visited. Read beforehand about the places or you will not know where you are.

Tout le personnel est anglophone, serviable, disponible. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours. Lieu idéalement situé en centre-ville à proximité de tous les services.

Probably the most helpful aspect of UB Guesthouse is that it offers many tourist excursions. Their prices aren't the best, but it's convenient and the perfect way to make friends with people staying in the accommodation. They have a Japanese-style toilet! My room was comfortable. The water filter system is a necessity that not every place in Ulaanbaatar has!

The desk in my room was helpful, but there were no plugs nearby, meaning I constantly had to find ways to charge between working. There are not enough bathrooms, so you often have to wait. Believe it or not, there is only one basin shared by every male! The tissue bin was too small, which overflowed and was gross. There was a young Mongolian boy who would talk loudly on his device in the middle of the night, which woke me up on two separate nights. I asked him to be quiet both times, and he didn't understand (or pretended not to) and continued. What is the point of paying extra for a private room when someone is going to speak loudly outside your door?
