Gute Außenanlage mit vielen Möglichkeiten (schöner Steg zum verweilen und um Kayaks & Co Kostenpflichtig zu mieten), guter Vibe und vielen Möglichkeiten zum Austausch (Aktivitäten,gemeinsame WhatsappGruppe), integriertes Restaurant (haben wir allerdings nicht probiert)

Sehr laut sowohl was die Aktivitäten anging, als auch die inexistente Dämmung Sehr spartane Einrichtung (ein paar Aufhängemöglichkeiten wären super), zu hohe Kissen

I was here for chill and then was WedNight, loud, crowdy and a lot of people in my room they have their own alcohol with and they were also noisy. The space between bed and wall is terrible so always things fallin down to the other bed

We had the most incredible stay at the Yak, so much so it was the highlight of our 2 week trip in Mexico! The hostel itself is in the most beautiful location, but the experience wouldn't have been the same without the brilliant staff. The hostel put on a range of great activities, including a bracelet making class led by Hadar who was absolutely lovely and made our trip so memorable, and a Mezcalita making class led by Papa Sito who was hillarious. The reception staff made sure we had everything we need - Riccardo went out of his way to ensure he could accommodate us extending our stay, and Ali was so kind to ensure that my lost possessions were returned. Dario and Fransico were also absolutely lovely and accomodating throughout our stay. Thank you to the Yak for an unforgettable stay!

I stayed 5 nights. Fantastic pier on the lagoon with rooftop and deckchairs. Mid-Jan was too cold for me to swim. Party hostel : there is always a different happening every night so music is loud (and on Wed even more) so bring ear plugs even if they don't keep all the noise away. Female dorm big enough and comfy, bathroom with hot shower. Very clean : even in the evening they clean again the bathroom. Excellent wifi. Water rifill system. A/c at 26 degrees from 6 pm, at least it's not freezing.

Unfortunately water in the bathroom was missing late at night and early morning, resuming only at 8 am. There is only hot coffee in the morning but very little and by 8 am there's no more...

Die Lage hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Auch vorne beim Steg gab es Liegestühle. Das Essen war fantastisch und das Personal sehr freundlich. Cooles Programm und Ausflüge, falls man etwas unternehmen möchte.

Im Badezimmer tropfte das Rohr unter dem Lavabo, sodass der Badezimmerboden permanent nass war. Die Musik ist abends jeweils so laut, dass man im Bett das Gefühl hat, man ist mitten auf der Party. An meinem Abreisetag wurde ich um 8.50Uhr abgeholt. Ich habe mich im Voraus extra erkundigt, ob es reicht, um noch zu frühstücken (Frühstück beginnt um 8.00Uhr). Mir wurde gesagt, dass das kein Problem ist. Um 8.10 Uhr kamen die ersten von der Bedienung und ich habe mich erkundigt, die Antwort war: die Küche kommt erst etwa in 20 Minuten. Auch um 8.40 Uhr war noch niemand da. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, dass mir nicht einmal etwas kleines zum essen angeboten wurde, obwohl sie wussten, dass ich eine lange Busfahrt vor mir habe.
