Cancelled our single room booking on arrival. 7 rooms booked, told us on arrival that they had cancelled one single room in with a double to make a family room - putting 3 adults in one room although we had paid for separate rooms!

Die Frühstücksbedingung war sehr sehr nett. Ansonsten furchtbar!

Wir sind spät angereist. Es lag ein Schlüssel an der Rezeption. Nach mehrfachen Telefonaten stellte sich heraus, dass unser Zimmer in einem gegenüberliegenden Wohnhaus war. Dort roch es extrem nach Gras. Alles heruntergekommen. Einfach nur ekelig. Dazu der extrem hohe Preis. Keine Parkplätze. Wir hatten leider keine andere Möglichkeit. Direkt neben an ist ein Travelodge - Buchen Sie dort!

Location good

I was kept awake literally half the night by intermittent scratching in the wall. I moved my bed to reveal a vent. This poor night’s sleep ruined my work day to follow. I reported the situation (suspected rodents) and was treated curtly by the receptionist, with no apology and no offer to take any action (I.e. report it to management &/or offer any compensation).

Breakfast was great.

No internet, even though promised. Room in a messy, dirty separate house. Felt unhealthy.

The room was spacious, clean & comfortable. It was in a separate building across the road from the main hotel but the location was very good. The staff were excellent, very helpful, hard working & professional. Breakfast was plentiful & good.

There is only 1 shower room between 6 double rooms & TINY bathroom with toilet, basin & bathtub squeezed in. The frosted glass in the door gives little privacy, especially when the light is on. No soap for hand washing in either. The upstairs shower room was very grubby & I asked for it to be cleaned, which it was. As the weather was warm & we were in a ground floor room, we couldn't open a window for air as there is no security grille on the windows.
