Property Notes

Due to health and safety, the minimum age for children allowed on the top bunks is 8 years. Please note if you don't book out all beds in your preferred dorm you may be moved to a larger/smaller dorm. Please note that parking is subject to availability, as parking spaces are limited. This is self-catering accommodations and there is a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. We do not have a washer/dryer but there are washing facilities in a nearby pub, however there is a drying room for wet gear. Children aged 3 years and younger can stay free of charge to share a bed or guests bring a cot. Children aged 3 years and older are charged at an adult rate. The property asks guests to refrain from excessive noise levels, it does not allow noise after 23:00. Please note that this property cannot accommodate stag, hen and similar parties. Dogs are allowed for an additional charge of GBP 5 per dog per night and is payable on check in. Dogs can only be present if sharing a room with members of the same booking group.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

It's perfect. Just book it. There were 15 of us and we have all booked for next year and I am going back next month. Log burner in the front room and great kitchen

Mattress could’ve been better pillows a bit too big, but okay value for money. Could’ve been more room to socialise in or like a bigger area If offered food on site

Fantastic setup - the most well equipped and cosy hostel I’ve ever stayed in! I felt really well looked after, Michael (one of the staff) was great and really welcoming. Really good location for hiking/climbing too.

"Bei gutem Wetter sicher eine bessere Erfahrung"

Bei gutem Wetter eignet sich die Unterkunft sicher gut als Ausgangsort für diverse Wanderungen.

Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt leider sehr viel geregnet hat und es ziemlich kalt war, war es leider nicht sehr gemütlich. Im Flur zu den Toiletten bildete sich über Nacht eine riesige Pfütze, weil es reinregnete. Die Heizung funktionierte nur am Abend, und am Vormittag/Mittag war es entsprechend kalt im Haus (also auch in den Aufenthaltsräumen), sodass man sich eigentlich nirgends aufhalten konnte. Leider fanden wir auch keine Ansprechperson nach 10 Uhr am Morgen. Unser Zimmer war selbst für ein kleines Zimmer winzig und die Fenster undicht.

Location of the place is very serene and beautiful, staff are very helpful, you can't find fault at the amenities they provide because everything that we need and is expected of the hostel is provided and its close to the area we planned to explore which is a +++.
