Brilliant hostel in a great location in Antigua. Initially booked for 3 days but ended up extending for a whole week. Friendly + helpful staff. Very clean, good facilities, the staff even wash your dishes if you cook! Nice view of the mountains / volcanoes from the roof + good recommendations for activities.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, the hostel is immaculately clean, and the rooftop view is stunning. The hosts are attentive, thoughtful, knowledgeable and genuinely kind, always making sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout my stay. Everything was so smooth and enjoyable—I honestly have nothing bad to say. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and I’d happily return anytime!

This was my second time staying at the Purpose Hostel and it was just as excellent as the first! The staff are all very friendly, helpful and enjoyable to conversate with. The location is far enough from the Central Plaza that there is less traffic noise, etc while also being able to walk to many places within a few minutes and the center about 10. They mainrain regular cleaning throughout the day and Pay attention to cleanliness details. They even wash your dishes! Everything is calm and mellow. It’s *not* a party hostel which i appreciate. No loud Music, TV, etc. They have a nice kitchen set up with quality kitchen things. They were very generous in storing some of my things while i travelled in between stays. Nice view from the roof. You get a lit for the price. I would definitely book again when back in Antigua.

The best place to stay in Guatemala. Clean, safe and comfortable. Quiet and good location. Good staffs.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hostel mit Dachterrasse, Vorhängen an den Stockbetten, Steckdose und Lampe am Bett und einem überaus freundlichen Personal mit vielen Informationen, die keine Fragen offen lassen und auch immer für einen da sind. Kaffee, Tee und Trinkwasser gibt es den ganzen Tag über kostenlos. Es gibt eine Gästeküche mit Kühlschrank.

Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Türen sind nicht die Stärke des Hostels. Der Feststellflügel der zweiflügligen Zimmertür lies sich nicht arretieren. Die Salontüren an den Toiletten sind so nah an der Kloschüssel, dass man kaum aufstehen kann ohne die Tür zu öffnen. Doch das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.
