The Purpose Hostel

Best staff, inclusive hostel (sign language), very nice and helpful, great atmosphere. Would stay there everytime again

They don't have a proper kitchen. Hope that changes in the future. There is no AC in the rooms, I suspect it will be a bit hot in the summer. The beds need to be renewed, but they are not as bad as the look

The staff are amazing. They were always approachable and friendly. They also gave many useful suggestions. I also received a Christmas card from them for staying around the Christmas period! Location is good as it’s not far from the plaza but tucked in a quiet street.

Toilets often get clogged or easily, even without paper.

Super cool little hostel. Really well run with great staff and cheap beer.

Staff were absolutely amazing. Not just helping when you asked but going the extra mile to do more than you asked for. Lovely building, great roof terrace with superb view.

The location is good, the hostel is clean, everything is good ! What impressed me the most is the staffs! Thanks so much to Sory , Miller, José & Tatjana and Sylvia and others I didn’t know the name ! This is the most organized hostel I’ve ever stayed! I travelled during the Protest time of Guatemala, also my flight has changed, because of the fantastic staffed, I managed the travel essy during the roadblock time!

The room and the location is fantastic but I think that it should include the breakfast as it is not a cheap property. Also, in Guatemala on many hotels you can't flush toilet paper and you leave it in a bin, but I had to ask to have the room cleaned as after two days they still hadn't emptied the bin or clean the room. So for the price I expect to have breakfast included and clean the room more often. I booked an ensuite double room. Also they didn't accept credit cards, but I hope this is been fixed.
