BIG K HOSTEL

Property was clean and staff were very helpful

Very large hostel on a hillside. Friendly staff with good english, able to rent a motorbike or to join tours. Dorm is big, with enough space for luggage and curtains. Very clean and towel provided.

AC not strong, and animals in the dorm. Had a gecko fall on my face one morning. Close to a mosque, so be prepared to wake up between 4-5am.

Fani and friends are amazing, the island is perfect, really glad to stay here, good vibes.

This hostel is extraordinary! The staff was super cute & friendly at all times, and made us varying breakfast each morning. We booked the double room with balcony / honeymoon suite which had the most stunning view over the jungle and sea. The rooms were super clean, the bed comfortable and we loved our outdoor shower. AC and WiFi worked really well. As an added bonus we got to see monkeys, kingfishers, monitor lizards and huge butterflies right at the hostel. The staff conveniently helped us arrange scooters and island trips. The location is great to go to Karina & Bobby beach, but a bit further if you‘d like to go to Sunset beach. We totally enjoyed the calmness and beauty of this hostel and would always book it again when going to Karimun Jawa. Thanks so much to the whole team!! You are the best :)

Double room was great!

The only major problem is that there is a mosque virtually next door, so you get the full "call to prayer" five times a day.

Very nice view. Comfortable beds and extremely lovely staff.

Amazing owners and managers who go out of their way to make you at home. Would recommend the bungalow for those who want a more private stay in a great location, close to pantai Bobby and the port town. Snorkelled through Big K and had a great stay - my second time visiting and couldn't recommend enough.

Amazing location, in the middle of « jungle » close to the harbour, close to the best beach of the island .
