Wspaniałe miejsce! Pośród roślin, żab, ptaków, owadów - prawdziwa jungla. Idealne dla osób, które chcą odetchnąć od pędu życia i odpocząć od upału, bo pośród roślin panuje temperatura idealna. Można odpocząć na tarasie z widokiem, obserwować naturę, wieczorem udać się na nocny spacer w poszukiwaniu żab, a 20min drogi stamtąd jest miasteczko Drake, gdzie można zjeść coś pysznego i pójść na piękne plaże! Ogromnie polecam! Wspaniałe doświadczenie, nie chciało się stamtąd wyjeżdżać! :) i jeszcze przyjazne pieski właściciela, które chętnie przychodziły się przywitać :) Naprawdę warto!

Juan Carlos and Dwight were very accommodating and attentive. Juan is a very good cook too so do try his dinners there. They gave us the details for a taxi driver named Norlyn who was also super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

GreenPoint Lodge was truly a peaceful lodge nestled in the jungle. It is 1.5 miles from Drake Bay, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic town. Juan Carlos created a sanctuary with focus on peaceful rest in nature. With help from his relative, Dweis (sp?), they both made the place a great place to stay for three (3) weeks. Within his finca, I was able to see Capuchin Monkeys, Toucans, Tapirs, Howler Monkeys, Scarlet Macaws, Spider Monkey, Poison Dart Frogs, all sorts of birds including Hummingbirds and Woodpeckers. This place was better than a tour of the Corcovado National Park. One of the highlights of staying at GreenPoint Lodge is the free breakfast. Keep in mind that Juan Carlos is also a chef by trade. For a modest fee, he also offers chef-created dinners and they are outstanding. Regarding the lodging, all of his cabins include private bathrooms, comfortable beds with netting, and your own private patio. If you are planning on visiting Drake Bay inside the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, I highly recommend staying at GreenPoint Lodge.

My cabin was the farthest cabin from the dining area where the free Wi-Fi internet is. I couldn't take advantage of the internet inside my cabin, and cell service is very limited due to the location. It would be nice if GreenPoint Lodge would invest in internet range extenders or additional routers near the cabin.

Super schöner Fleck Erde, mitten im der Natur. Die Hütten sind super schön, überall fliegen Vögel rum und die Brüllaffen brüllen, es gibt einen kleinen Pfad durch den Dschungel und man kann auch eine Nachttour machen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen von Juan ist ein Gedicht. Für den Preis unschlagbar, ich hätte auch das Doppelte bezahlt. Dankeschön

The absolute peaceful surroundings, the food, the dogs and the staff. I loved that it was run on solar. The other guests and the family like atmosphere.

Quiet and restful in the jungle with lots of birds (lower cabin had tapier visiting at night. Monkeys on the balcony and howlers visited one night. Sociable terrace with fellow travellers. Love relaxing on our balcony in the hammocks. Walk to town is approx 50min but taxi ride’s available. WiFi excellent strength (see below) but only in the en-suite rooms and communal area

WiFi kept being turned during the day and total off at 9pm ish. Food was poor quality and way over priced for what you got. Beers where 33% more expensive than anywhere else

De rust, omgeving, vele vogels, prachtige locatie, hangmatten, en goed eten.

Geen ventilator, matras spiralen erg ongemakkelijk. ( maar het blijkt dat er verschillende matrassen zijn dus we hadden geen mazzel)

Un lugar increíble, Juan Carlos y María fueron muy especiales y nos encantó. Nos ayudaron a buscar un tour a corcovado y nos tenían el desayuno a la hora que quisiéramos. Muy recomendado
