The Funky Monkey Hostel

Everything is amazing about this place. Rooms (private) are very nice. I saw the shared ones and they look good too. It’s a super social hostel (events on every night and I must have met 30/40 people in a week). 5 minutes from the beach. Food is decent. If Anjuna 1000% book this place.

I suppose food is more expensive than locally, but it’s still very cheap and it’s safe so no complaints from me!

I loved how friendly the staff were - shoutout to Ananya for making sure everyone always felt comfortable and included. This was my first solo trip and she made sure that there were always group activities in case you were feeling lonely.

I booked a single room, which was nice and spacious, but would have been better if there was a fan in the room.

I had a great time at Funky Monkey...friendly staff, fun activities, not very far from the beach, and was lucky enough to find good company too...would highly recommend checking it out

One of the most social hostels I’ve stayed at. I loved that they had specific ‘social’ tables to help travellers meet, I’ve never seen that anywhere and it worked great. It wasn’t a party hostel but was still social and easy to meet people to party with. Great proximity to anjuna beach. Dorms were also very clean.

The social areas can get very hot being outside. It would be great to turn the games room into a social room with comfortable seating and AC. More comfy chairs/sofas outside could be great too.

A great place to socialize with other people, make new friends. The food is great, the location is 5 minutes walk from the beach.

It can be properly located on Google maps, I found it difficult to locate.

The people I met and the entire feel itself was very positive and happy. I loved it.
