De Hoop Collection Suites

De Hoop is one of the most magical places I’ve ever visited. The nature is absolutely breathtaking, endless landscapes, incredible wildlife, and the most pristine white dunes that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. You can hop on a bike and explore the reserve, spotting zebras, ostriches, and antelopes roaming freely around you. The staff is exceptional, warm, and welcoming, and the decor is making you feel like you are in another time, far away from the rush of modern life. It’s a place where nature, tranquility, and pure beauty come together perfectly. A must-visit!

Our bath was equipped with shower and a bath tub. The later was not working. Shower was ok. After trying to repair the bath tub, also the shower was not working as well …

Wonderful room beautifully decorated. Food was good. Nice swimming pool.

We felt the guides running the leisure facilities were somewhat disinterested, and more could have been made of the trails.

Wonderful setting with great activities available. Very good food at the Fig Tree restaurant.

Stayed in the Otter suite, with great views on the vlei. Outdoor shower was amazing. Beds have a mosquito net so no need to worry about insects at night. Bed was comfortable. Some people complain about the smell in the rooms, but this was not at all an issue in my opinion. The restaurant is good, breakfast was great and dinner was usually good (depends on what you choose). Great location in a beautiful nature reserve, the right place to take a break and disconnect. Took a nature drive tour which was great, our tour guide Vincenzo was absolutely amazing!!

Fridge was quite loud, had to turn it off to sleep. If you don’t like outdoor shower there is only a bathtub, with no shower curtain however. Didn’t use it but I guess the floor would get pretty wet. The mountain bikes are in very poor condition. Rented one to drive to the beach. Path not well marked and one of my wheels fell off.

Beautiful located in the middle of the Natur Reserve. Surounded by nature. In the Night the zebras were staying in front of the accomondation, in the Morning we had some ostriches

The remote location is so unique and beautiful. We went hiking and mountainbiking and loved the encounter with zebras, ostriches, elands, oryxes.
