The Hideout - Hiraeth

Awesome stay and yum food. Stayed in the dorm of hideout hiraeth and as a solo female traveller, i highly recommend this hostel, especially if you love peaceful stays.

Great property with great facilities and friendliest staff

Literally breathtaking view! Seven mountain gradients formed one after the other, especially the view from the common food eating lounge on the first floor is super amazing (the property is G + 1 :-D), Humble & accommodating staff, Yummy tummy food (try Happy's Biryani, Mushroom Sandwich & egg omelette he makes it well and oh yeah ask for strong coffee trust me clubbing the food with the view makes you even more calmer), Commuting from this location to waterfalls & sightseeing is super comfy (travel by HPST busses they are mostly on time with 5-10 mins std deviation :-) and they stop by show of hand :-) isn't that super amazing culture). Room was clean they provide sheets, comforters, quilts (but bed & pillow quality could have been much better), towels (hand & body), they provide body shower gel & moisturizers (must say of good quality), Solar powered hot water (we had gone on 26th Dec despite of the weather being 6 degrees Celsius or low we used to get hot water in 10 mins of running the tap - :-( yeah one has to waste some water but its needed), common house heater is in the ground floor along with the common TV (we didn't ask for personal room heater so don't know if they provide it or not but they should provide it with some additional cost I say ask for personal heater if you are not carrying well insulated clothing even for sleep it is important as despite the room insulation it gets super cold in the night). It doesn't feel like a hostel stay. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Jagatsukh :-)

Bed & pillow could have been of better quality, "I" got slight neck & lower back pain.

The stay and the host are to friendly in nature i enjoyed my three days of stay overe there never a single time i felt like i am solo here

Everything from the vibe, location, food and view from the room were top notch. The host was very helpful with everything and really fun to chat with. Would highly recommend this to everyone who likes a peaceful getaway.

My time at the hostel was truly memorable. From the lively atmosphere to the delightful food. I highly recommend this hostel to fellow travelers seeking a delightful stay in Manali.

The stay is great and very comfy. It's like visiting your friends place, you won't feel strange at all with the caretakers.

A beautiful property amidst apple orchards, with a lovely view of mountains from the big glass window of the room. The place is great to work from, with good internet speed and power backup, making it a perfect place for workation.
