The room was clean and comfortable. Many breakfast choices were available and the kitchen was well equipped. Many comfortable seating options in the shared lounge with a large TV and streaming services available. Steve the owner was exceptional, very friendly and helpful.

A charming building in the center of a beautiful village, with a host of several decades practice in welcoming travelers, and extensive experience as a traveler himself. While welcome to use to full kitchen, we indulged instead in the excellent restaurants just a short walk away.

Host was lovely. Hostel is in a great location for the coastal path. Provides a free breakfast and the owner was kind enough to let me make sandwiches for my hike. Friendly and welcoming!

Just what I hope for from a hostel - a comfortable place to stay, easy-going, cuppas and breakfast available, with a knowledgeable, frienfly, helpful host.

One toilet door was a bit stiff, but I was shown another loo to use.

Quite quirky and communal , the accommodation was great. Spacious room and bathroom, everything we needed . Highlight of the stay was going to pub with host Steve and hanging out with the locals , an experience you could not buy .

Steve couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.
