The Nunnery Accommodation

the facilities were good, the kitchen was small but had enough appliances and space for storage, our room was comfortable and had lockers for storage (had to bring locks)

the pillows were very thin

The vibe of the hostel was amazing, they really went with the "Nunnery" theme and it was really fun. I was here in July, so it was off season and quiet. I prefer that, and I still met awesome people despite there not being many. Staff were incredibly friendly, was very clean. I got a free upgrade which was sweet. It's also located in Fitzroy so awesome if you are queer as this the gayborhood of Melbourne.

The kitchen does close in the afternoon for two hours and at night. But there's another location you can keep your food.

Location is unbeatable. The property is huge and has many different common areas for you to find the right place. The loungeroom was very comfortable for both relaxing and work on the laptop. I stayed only one night in a shared room. There is no where in the rooms to ‘hang out’ except your bed, but there are so many other spaces this doesn’t matter.

For the price I paid I consider the place amazing. The bathrooms are old but they function as they should. No complaints from me.

Fantastic location, easy check in after hours, extremely clean facilities (bathrooms and showers were spotless), comfy beds, outstanding staff. Our room faced the main road so it was a little noisy overnight with the tram passing but that's what you get when you're in the centre of the city! Really happy with our stay and will definitely be back if we need a place to crash in the city.
