BED Friends Poshtel

Receptions are friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is very close to the bus station and night market, so it is easy to walk around. Room is spacious, clean, and modern. There are a lot of common spaces being provided and the pantry is lovely. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Chiang Rai again.

- no elevator - our room didn’t have a window and the smell was weird - there was mold in the hallways

Really clean shared bathrooms. Clean bedrooms. Comfort level is average/OK but this is totally fair considering the cost of the accommodation. Quiet at night, good soundproofing between rooms, no noise from the street. The location is perfect. The staff are all lovely, especially the woman on morning shifts who was exceptionally professional and welcoming.

The single room was extremely noisy with some ventilation going on because no windows. I did not sleep the first night and had to upgrade and pay for extra to move room for the second night. Hostel didn’t accept refund for me to go to another so I’ve paid the extra. The bar and almost all social areas are closed beside the breakfast table. So it’s not a social hostel despite the possibility of the rooftop bar. Bathrooms needs to be fix. A lot of mold and out of usage ones.
