KALINDA HOMEY

Estaba en muy buena zona el único problema fue que a las 4:15 de la mañana todos los días sonaba la llamada a la mezquita, lo que era un poco incómodo y te despertaba. El trato de Naomi fue espectacular. Nos vino a buscar al ferry y pudimos alquilar con ella las motos a buen precio. El desayuno estaba muy bueno

The room and bathroom were nice and comfortable. It was nice to have a mosquito net. The shower was good. The breakfast was amazing!! It was different every day and so so good. We also got breakfast to go on the morning of departure, which was so nice. The bakery is also so good (and dangerous) to have nearby. Naomi is a great host, always easy to reach in person or on WhatsApp and will arrange tours & scooter rental. All in all we loved our stay here.

Just know that it is close to a mosque, which can be loud without earplugs. We knew this so it was fine, and it will he hard to avoid on this island!

The breakfast was so good, freshly prepared every morning by the host. The location was less than a 5-minute walk from Alun-alun, where we had dinner each night. The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the bakery was a nice touch to our stay there. The staff were all very polite and helpful. My kids enjoyed the stay too! Could probably have a barrier between the bakery and the hotel parts, but it's not a big deal.

I had an incredible time at Kalinda Homestay – truly one of the best places I’ve stayed in all of Indonesia. The host, Naomi, is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming – always with a big smile. She made me feel right at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious and they were very attentive to my personal preferences, which I really appreciated. There’s a water dispenser with both hot and cold water available at all times, which was super convenient. The air conditioning worked perfectly – very effective and much needed. The whole place has a lovely, super clean, heartfelt atmosphere, and it’s clear they put a lot of care into making guests feel comfortable. The bakery that’s part of the homestay is also fantastic – definitely a highlight! I’m already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend Kalender Homestay to anyone visiting Karimun. You won’t regret it!

the hostel is in a great location nearby to everything. the host Naomi was so kind and really helpful organising a tour for us and helping us get to the ferry port. the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. the breakfast was very good too. would definitely recommend staying here!

This has been the best hotel that we have stayed in, from start to finish, in Indonesia. You are picked up from the ferry port and taken a short drive to the hotel, which is very much appreciated in the heat. The room was very clean, aesthetic and comfortable. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful- especially the owner, who helped us to arrange multiple trips, rent a scooter and even provided restaurant recommendations upon arrival. The breakfast is great and changes everyday and the location of the hotel is perfect (if you hire a scooter), as you’re a short drive to anywhere you want to go and in walking distance of most of the restaurants in the town. Absolutely 10/10 in all departments.

The host was very nice and helpful. She came and pick me up at the port, she gave me advices about beaches and restaurants. The hostel proposes snorkeling boat tours that are super fun. The breakfast is amazing. Plus, very good fish market right next to the hostel.

We enjoyed everything about Kalinda Homey. The aircon in our room was very good, the bed was comfortable, the hot shower was powerful, and the breakfasts were amazing and varied every morning. Naomi was a wonderful host. It was dangerous having a bakery right outside our bedroom door; we bought pastries most days!

Our room was lit up every night due to the lights outside our door remaining on through the night – a curtain that can be drawn across the door windows would be a good idea. Also the proximity to the masjid, but that's common everywhere. The bakery can be quite noisy at night as well
