Incredible staff!! Breakfast very good

The beds move a lot

It is a lovely place to go and have fun with new people. All the amenities are cool and the location if you know how to use the public transportation is a bonus for the place

The front door is kind of difficult to open and close, even though, there are some cats, I love them but maybe other guests don't.

Neat and clean. Central location walkable to Metro near ALAMEDA Park, Bella art palace, Torre Latina and ZOCALO walking on Madera Street , Good simple Mexican breakfast in the terrace. Clean drinking water

Climbing up the stairs for four storey after a long hectic day was tiring, no air conditioning in the hot summer

Up a lot of stairs! Room was a bit hot.

I thought the breakfast was very good. I especially liked that there was a large table to eat at, and you could converse with the other guests. Really good idea!

The individual private room was like an oven in the afternoon, but I can't think of what anyone could do about that. It's just the layout.

Breakfast was included in price and served on the rooftop of the hostel, which was great.

All the staff were amazing, they gave me some recommendations about places that I can visit. The hostal is near to the public transportation stations and principal turistic places.

A hostel needs two basic requirements - security for your belongings and an adequate place to sleep, this hostel didn't provide either. The private room was dingy and was incredibly hot at night, and opening the door meant that cats and mosquitos would enter the room. There is no security whatsoever, anyone can walk into the hostel from the street and walk into a dorm room. The wifi is patchy. The staff are a mixed bag but tend to be uninterested. In particular the short man with facial hair has an attitude problem and seems to be more interested in flirting with young female guests at the bar area than in staffing the reception.

You need good fitness to climb the stairs

Lovely space, lots of good spaces to chill out in! Vegetarian only kitchen was a nice touch and bathrooms were always clean. A couple of the staff were friendly.

My main concern was with a particular member of staff (or volunteer, not sure) who felt it was appropriate to listen to a very sexist and borderline racist podcast full volume on the roof, and just stared at me when I asked her politely to turn it down a bit as I was trying to work on my laptop. Another day she was discussing the Israel Palestine conflict and laughing about it and blaming the Palestinian citizens for what was happening to them. This is a very sensitive topic and the way she was speaking openly about it was shocking. Alongside this, she was very unfriendly and hostile. As a non-white person, I felt very uncomfortable around this member of staff as she seemed to hold quite discriminatory views. It was strange as the hostel had lots of art up that marketed it as a welcoming, inclusive environment but everyone seemed quite comfortable with this girls views.
