We were totally disappointed with the hostel on arrival, it looked nothing like the picture on the Booking.com website. There was junk in the driveway, junk in the yard and junk in the communal room. The smell of damp was in the whole apartment, there was linen drying in the communal room, and it was cold, very cold, we couldn't and did not stay.

Good location. Right behind a petrol station with a fairly god range of groceries.

90 pounds is in my views very overpriced for a private room which only had beds in it. The standard of cleanliness was poor. Cat hair on sheets - although they seemed washed still not very pleasant. Dirty mop and bucket in the bathroom and dirty cleaning rags on the bathroom shelf. Hair in the shower. We have stayed in lots of hostels before and standards and expectations tend to be lower but as we paid so much we clearly expected more. I am sure with some simple improvements this could be a great place to stay.

The only two things that were positive was the parking and the room was warm

It was musty damp, unsecured entrance , dirty, I felt unsafe as anyone could come in, it was dark through the entrance room to which anyone could be a potential victim to an unknown person being in there, I paid for two nights but only stayed for one. I know hostels are basic but this was another level. I would not recommend to any women who are staying on their own. I would have rather slept in my van if it wasnt -1 degrees outside. I did not sleep at all.
