Hostel New Ipanema

I was a solo female traveller and apart that I am older I felt so welcomed at this place. The staff is adorable! This is a very quiet hostel...absolut silence from 11 P M to 9 A M. That was great. It is all very clean. The location is very good ...you can rent a bike for a very good price there and explore all the coast/ beaches. Also a metro is 10min walk away. and you easily rich Crist the redentor and other places. The kitchen is clean. The neighbourhood is very safe. Few restaurants around and a grocery shop.

A localização é maravilhosa, muito perto da praia, de bares, restaurantes. Hostel simples, mas limpo e atende ao que se propõe a oferecer.

O hostel só é um pouco apertado e as escadas estreitas, não tem tanto conforto! Ele fica dentro de uma vilinha. Uma sugestão é colocar o número, foto da frente e/ou um ponto de referência. Demorei um pouco pra achar!

The property was very well maintained and cleaned daily. There are activities for the day written on a board for everyone along with things to do/events organized by the hostel. I went out multiple times with hostel staff and people staying there and had a great time every time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. There was even a cute & friendly hostel cat named Estrella. The people staying there were a mix of all ages and activity levels making it very easy to either go out or stay in and rest. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. So many good vibes and memories here.
