The best location, walking distance to everything also the family dinner was delicious!

Beds are slightly old.

Staff were really nice and offered good genuine advice for Ella and helped me do the Yala safari. They were always very polite and welcoming and kept the accommodation very clean.

The staff are truly amazing and very welcoming. The beds are comfortable, and the hostel offers many activities such as shared trips and group tours, which is great for meeting people and exploring together. The shared balcony is a wonderful place to spend time - perfect for meditation, reading a book, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. The breakfasts were decent. The location is very convenient: only about a 3-minute walk to the train station and also around 3 minutes from the city center. The rooms are clean.

The place could be better maintained. There is some humidity in the rooms, and at times even small water leaks or drips. Also, the price is a bit higher compared to many places in Sri Lanka, but the atmosphere and social vibe make it worth it.
