Staff was so friendly and hospitable. They make you feel at home, help with everything and made me ginger tea when I was sick. They were also helpful in adjusting my plans due to my sickness. Food there was delicious ! They offer amazing tours and give you tips on what to see in Malang. I loved how it was in a more local area, far from busy center. Also the cat was cute (and the neighbor’s chicken). Terima kasih! :)

Maybe the only downside is that there is no soundproof walls if you are sensitive to sound when sleeping. But of course you could use earplugs :)

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay- the particular highlight was our hosts - nothing was too much trouble and Vicos advice on activities and places nearby to explore was so helpful- the hostel is slightly out of Malang but near rice fields and beautiful viewpoints. I’ve never felt so warmly welcomed at a hotel/hostel. The food they do is also delicious - would really recommend eating there! The tours we did through Vico were brilliant, the driving felt safe and the drivers were very friendly. Overall the past few days have been a highlight of our Indonesia trip so far!

N/A - if you are a light sleeper you might want earplugs as sound travels a lot in this area and the nearby mosque call to prayer is fairly noisy! This is expected for this area though.

It was managed by Vico and the family. Vico is really nice and kind also the property is very uniquely surrounded by forest and feels very intimate and relaxed

We had an amazing stay at Condro Wulan Hostel Malang, thanks to Vico's exceptional hospitality and his wife's warm care. When my partner fell ill, Vico went above and beyond to help us out, extending our stay and tours. His wife even cooked special meals with love and care to help my partner recover. The tour package for Tumpak Sewu, Bromo, and Ijen was top-notch - well-organized and with great guides. We loved exploring these natural wonders with Vico's expert guidance. What really made our stay special, though, was the warm personality and sense of humor of Vico and his wife. Our conversations and laughter with them were truly enjoyable, and we felt like we were part of the family. We highly recommend Condro Wulan Hostel Malang to anyone looking for a welcoming and personalized experience. Thanks, Vico and family, for making our stay unforgettable!

The staff is so lovely. I also loved the garden and the fruits tree. The place is nice if you want to connect with nature.

I think the shower could be better; the water pressure is not good. The hostel area is a bit far from the city center, you should use grab or hire a scooter.

The staff of the hostel is the best. They are lovely and friendly and always in for a chat. It is great that they provide food and it was some of the nicest noodles we have had in indonesia. We did the bromo and waterfall tour with the hostel and enjoyed both very much. We felt very welcome and safe at this hostel. Definitely recommend.

The accommodation is basic, which you know when you book it. There are quite a few bugs (the top row of stones is a sort of open structure, so not really a way to keep them out) but the hostel was nice enough to give us extra bugspray!

The host and his wife are literally the best people you can ever meet. And she definitely makes the best best food , so good we loved the breakfast every morning and she also made us nasi goreng. Really kind and helpful people also great to have long conversations with, had an amazing time. The rooms are really nice with books and drinks for free. Recently they got a new pet a cute chicken that lost its way haha. Absolutely recommended and we look forward to come back soon❤️❤️❤️lots of love

Viko and his wife are angels! They are SO kind and helpful. They are these kind of people that you feel like family treatment. We stayed very short time because we did the Bromo excursión and Ijen. but I wish I had stayed longer!! Also, we arrived at 8 p.m and they organized all the excursions that start at 12 p.m . So, I asked them with a very short time but they organized everything So fast and good! Super very good comunication!! They are a little bit far from the town but for us was better because we wanted to rest.
