Condro Wulan Hostel

We had a great stay at the Condro Hostel, making us feel at home and offering amazing food cooked by the wife's owner! Also did an organized trip to Mount Bromo and it was extraordinary and very well planned! We will come back again for sure.

It is very noisy, there are cars and motorcycle passing by, the locals have chicken. You hear everything, because there are no real walls

Was a little far away from the city so you needed a bike or to take a Grab to go to the city. It would have helped a little bit more of cleaning and closed bedrooms so the roosters wouldn’t wake you up at 3am

I loved pretty much everything during my stay here : the owners organize for you all the tours to Tumpak waterfalls, Bromo and Ijen. You have different options to choose, they take care of the entire organization which was very well done. Everything is clear and you got the infos well in advance. The owner also gives a lot of recommandation for everything you could need to ask for. The guides and drivers on the tours are very dedicated, always on time, very kind and have good advice for food, pictures and so on. The beds are comfy, there’s a kitchen, a fridge, space to hang your wet clothes and they have a small menu if you’re hungry during the day.

I got hot during the afternoon nap in the top bed as there is no AC but a small fan and the sun hits on the roof.

Nice hostel which also organises the bromo / Ijen / waterfall tours. They take great care of their guests. ☺️☺️ They even provide breakfast to take away when we have early morning tours. The accommodation is not directly in the centre of town, which means you can relax after the activities. I highly recommend this hostel, it remains one of the best during my trip to Indonesia!

Loved staying at this property. Vico and his family were very accommodating to us. We initially booked just the Bromo tour but when we arrived they gave us the information for all three Bromo, waterfalls and Ijen. We decided to do all 3 with them and they were able to arrange all the transport and fit the trips around our plans. The accommodation itself felt very homely and the food that was prepared is some of the best we had. The whole stay here felt we were part of their family

As it’s outside the city more, you can hear a lot of noise at night, this was no fault to Vico. If you are doing the tours it doesn’t really effect you as you’ll be waking up extremely early anyway
