Hotel Central

The position is great. A big parking is next to the hotel. Normal room size and quality. The breakfast was awesome, made by the owner who was really kind and welcoming.

The bathroom was a little smelly.

interior of the room was not so special

A great stop over place to stay before the Quilotoa loop, they offer free bag storage that is secure in their locked office we arrived by a bus from the Amazon at 4am and their 24hour reception service was very handy. The location is good too right next to the square which means it's close to the best cafe in town (Cactus brunch and coffee- amazing value) and for dinner we had savoury crepes at California crepes (also amazing value). The other place for dinner that comes up which must be highly rated by locals we found slimy and weird to our Aus/USA palettes: "Pizzeria Buono grill" but all of those places are a few minutes walk from the hostal. The location and the bag storage were the best parts of our stay. The showers get moderately hot. The service is wonderful with really lovely staff who go above and beyond for you and it's a secure place.

For the same price we have stayed at places with better atmosphere that are extremely clean but this place has location and free bag storage going for it

Best without doubt was the service. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Viola the host is such a nice and welcoming person. Apart from that, the room size was great, very comfortable; location is good as it is in front of main plaza; breakfast (additional) was huge and delicious; loved that they offer you complimentary coffee; room was very clean; and last but not least the value for money is excellent. Very recommended for your stat at Latacunga!

Nothing to complain about it

Really comfy bed, all the staff we met were very nice. luggage storage was brilliant as from here we did the Quilota loop. Short walk to the bus station too
