Hotel Central

We stayed here before and after completing the three day Quilotoa Loop hike. It was the perfect place to prefer for the hike and rest after it. The staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are big and clean with hot water, a desk and beautiful view of the central plaza and cathedral from your window. Couldn't recommend this place more!

The location was super central and all the staff were so kind and helpful, always offering tea and coffee, sometimes even cake, they really were so lovely, they made me feel at home even though I was unwell my whole time in Latacunga

The highlight of Hotel Central was the staff! They were so welcoming, kind, and attentive. Everyone helped with anything we needed and they made us a great breakfast both mornings we were there. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Checking and out was very easy. We asked for a quiet room and it was really quiet.

A double bed is small and everything could use a renovation.

Easy to order food if you don’t want to eat out. Viola made our stay very special and memorable.

This is the most hospitable hotel we have stayed at in Ecuador. The staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The ladies who run it and the man who works the night shift always checked in on how we were doing and would offer us hot drinks and snacks. The rooms are very big, comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the central park and church. The location is very convenient for restaurants, shops and ATMs. They stored our luggage for free whilst we hiked the Quilotoa Loop. Cannot recommend staying here enough & it's very affordable!

Had a small breakfast with the owner because I had plans to see Quilotoa. The next morning I was in a rush to get back to Guaranda. However the small time I spent with the host and her family was very pleasent. Very accomodating and thoughtful. It has been sometime since I jad a break from work and needed time away. Hotel Central provided a calm place to rest that was quiet, acommodating, and comfortable in a convenient location in Latacunga.

Limited access to power outlets in my room. Located in awkward places. Not the owners fault. Just the set up of the room.

Great location in the centre of town, ten minute walk from the bus terminal, large rooms, some with a nice view over the park, run by a very welcoming family who make a delicious breakfast.

Old but gold. Spacious and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Locked storage for backpacks. Great value.

Bathroom gets a bit smelly (was only the case during our second stay)
