Hotel Central

The owner is a very nice lady. She helped me learn the language and taught me how to make coffee. The staff is absolutely nice and helpful. You can feel at home.

Sometimes very weak wifi but maybe only in my room. In other places it was ok.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central. The staff was so friendly and treated us like family. Even though the hotel is downtown, it was still quiet and peaceful. The shower had hot water and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the hotel is easy walking distance to good restaurants.

Really cute family run hotel off the main square of Latacunga. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. They stored our bags for free whilst we hiked the Quilotoa Loop in a locked area. Staff spoke no English but were very eager to have a chat anyway with our very limited Spanish.

Viola, the owner, was beyond wonderful and helpful! She welcomed us in, fed us homemade treats, and helped me practice my Spanish. We were able to leave our bags for two nights while we hiked the Quilatoa Loop. Then she called ahead to Baños to make us reservations at another great hostal.

Great location in the center of the city. Friendly staff, even though not always attentive.

Cold showers. Everything was pretty basic.

Good location on central plaza. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean.

Great location ,super friendly staff...free luggage storage ..while hiking quilotoa loop ... $2 in taxi to bus station ..or 15min walk ...highly recommend
