Hotel Central

I arrived at the hotel and the staff could not find my reservation. The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. Since I had insufficient cash on me anyway, I refused to pay twice for what was already way overpriced accommodations in Latacunga, Ecuador.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone trekking the Quilotoa Loop and starting/ending in Latacunga. The location is superb and they let you store your bags for free. They were super accommodating about our unknown return time/day exactly and were helpful in making sure things were taken care of. Steps from city center square. Tons of shops and restaurants and ATMs in the area. HOT shower, which is a must when the nights get cold!

The lighting could have been better.

It was close to the square and everything in walking distance. Viola welcomed us into her home for a yummy breakfast. Rosa organised our driver to Cotopaxi. It was an excellent stay.

Toilet pipes were a bit smelly.

Great location,right on the square. They were super helpful and let us store our luggage and bikes whilst we did the Quilota hike

It was noisy as town was rebuilding historic stone road infront until late hours but I am sure it is finished now.

Great location, road working outside of the hotel, but follow with the staff’s guide, was easy to parking. Friendly staff.

Not so clean , smelly pillows and smelly covers.
