Jambiani Backpackers Hostel

I extended my trip twice and my only regret is not staying here longer! I have been traveling for over 3 years and this is by far the best hostel I have stayed in. The pool is kept pristine, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the vibe is incredible. It’s a place that will match your mood whether you want to relax or party. A short trip to Paje if you want more activity but I thought the beach here was even better. The staff are not only fun and helpful but also some of the kindest and most generous people I have met. Ps they can’t turn down a game of beach paddle if you ask and they will let you win ;). A/C, great breakfast, organized trips, bar, pool, volleyball net, and great water pressure in the showers! I hope my travels will bring me back here one day!

The breakfast was good

Did not receive information about the hostel and its surroundings when I checked in except for the wifi password. Other travellers who were statying there informed me. No activities or social "events" at all. The hostel had a power cut for an entire night and it was almost impossible to sleep in the cubicle bed in the dorm without AC. Overall staying wasn't really enjoyable

Todo perfecto

La disponibilité du personnel ,le lieu magnifique, le massage pour seulement 20 euros de l'heure. Piscine géniale et le personnel qui commandait des tuk tuk pour nous aider . L'espace extérieur est fabuleux ! Des grands casiers gratuits avec clé ou apporter son cadenas . Draps et serviettes tres propres, un petit déjeuner délicieux. Le bar dans la piscine . Plage magnifique a cote et une cenote juste a proximité 800m.

Le lit n'était pas confortable et jai eu un énorme mal au dos le lendemain le matelas s'enfonçant .J'en ai parlé a la réception pour les avertir . Le jeune homme était désolé.

Das Hostel ist wirklich total schön – perfekt, um zu entspannen und einfach eine richtig gute Zeit zu haben. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Mohammed und William sind eigentlich immer an der Rezeption bzw. Bar anzutreffen und einfach klasse. Die beiden sind total kundenorientiert, mega hilfsbereit und ich war wirklich beeindruckt, weil wirklich jedes meiner Anliegen gelöst wurde. Sie sind jederzeit für einen kleinen Plausch zu haben und durch ihre offene, aufmerksame Art fühlt man sich direkt willkommen. Danke, dass ihr meinen Aufenthalt so toll gemacht habt! Ich habe 6 Nächte in einem Einzelzimmer mit eigenem Bad verbracht. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und hat all meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt. Gleichzeitig ist die Anlage total einladend, sodass man leicht mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch kommt. Wir haben zusammen gegessen, Ausflüge gemacht und eine gute Zeit gehabt. Insgesamt ein Hostel, in das man gerne zurückkommt – absolute Empfehlung!

Occasional powercut

The pool area is fantastic and they have a volleyball court too. Quiet and not too busy area, and very quick walk to the beach. Good people and great staff. When it's full it's a fun place.

Private room was pretty basic. The room a/c units got extremely noisy, one was shaking the whole room. This place had way more power outages than I expected The coffee (even if it's just black or instant) should be included in the breakfast price. Sometimes hard to hail a ride
