Jambiani Backpackers Hostel

Everything about this hostel is just perfect! The location is nearby Paje but still far from the chaos of the city, the beach is a 5min walk and I have just met so many amazing people, great to socialise with others specially as a solo traveler! And the owners organised so many trips for us and helped us out so much, they give this place just the extra touch that makes this place the best hostel I have ever stayed at!

Great stay , the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy, with a good vibe and chill common area to meet fellow travelers and the Pool was very relaxing , Location was perfect just less than 3mn walk distance to the beach i Would definitely recommend!"

The backpackers offered very comfortable, clean dorms and restrooms, along with a swimming pool, cozy seating areas, a bar, games, and an amazing breakfast. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to relax and meet new people. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up extending my stay!

I do not understand how this place has good reviews. This hostel was the worst place I stayed during my time in Tanzania. It was so dirty and disgusting. Upon arrival, I went to my room and immediately seen mouse droppings all over my bed. There were at least 4-5 on my bed and along the bed frame. There are no windows in the dorms so it feels so dark and dingy. I had already paid for 2 nights so I couldn’t leave but I couldn’t wait to go somewhere else. There was no atmosphere and it was very dead and boring. The location also sucks for a hostel as it’s away from everything and you end up needing to get a ride everywhere. The sheets and the towels also smelled so bad. I felt so gross and dirty after staying here.

The pool Is good and the breakfast is awesome, the host Muhammad is amazing he prefers to be called Mo... So please call him Mo.
