Jambiani Backpackers Hostel

This is not a hostel, it’s a hotel

I had a fantastic stay at Jambiani Backpackers in Zanzibar! The hostel is perfectly located just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. They offer an amazing breakfast and great coffee, and the Wi-Fi is super fast, making it easy to stay connected and get work done. The vibe at the hostel is amazing, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it!

Wir hatten Bettwanzen in unseren Matratzen. Nachdem wir das Personal darauf angesprochen haben, haben sie es auf uns geschoben, dass wir die Bettwanzen in unseren Sachen mitgebracht hätten. Nach einer langen Diskussion haben wir das Hostel verlassen. Wir haben wenigstens eine kostenlose Stornierung bekommen, aber die Gebühren der Kartenzahlung mussten wir selbst zahlen.

If you say you know better people then Mohammed, William and his staff, I'd say you're full of ****. They make sure everyone is having the best time. Very helpful and kind people. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed. Thanks to all of you.

I couldn't stay longer.

Just everything. Mo, William & their team care a lot about their guests, and they demonstrate this every day. They cooked meals for us, organized all of the trips for us, had the best recommendations for everything, and were just part of the community as any other guest. Furthermore, the hostel is the perfect mix of absolute relaxation, great location and a dynamic vibe for travelers coming and leaving the place. I can recommend this place to everyone, and especially for solo-travelers who are up to meet new young people from around the world and seek exposure to the local culture of Zanzibar. Whatever you envision about your ZNZ trip, this hostel is going to make your trip complete.

Tbh, nothing.

It’s literally one of the best hostels I have ever been. The stuff is very open, helpful and organizes everything from transport, events, party’s and foods. Great location and nice vibe, highly recommend!
