Please inform Alme Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of USD 50 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. A deposit via bank transfer or PayPal is required to secure your reservation. The property will contact you after you book to provide any bank transfer instructions. Please note that If you want to check in sooner or later than the stipulated time, you can make a request. The property can not guarantee the room later the 8:00 PM without the guest informing the time of arrival. When booking more than 10 people, beds or rooms, different conditions and supplements may apply. Property will contact you to give you the information. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total amount and must be paid separately during the stay. Please note that a silence time exist at the property and customers must respect the time from 21:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs. If you want to check in before or after the stipulated time, you can request it. The hotel can not guarantee the availability of the room after 24:00 hours if the guest does not inform of their arrival time.

"Good sleep"

Playa del Carmen is a very noisy city, so I chose the hotel, which seemed quieter. As expected, I slept well.Staff was very friendly.

"Friendly staff"

Staff is very kind. The hotel is quiet & comfortable space. 10 minutes walk from Bus/Ferry terminal.

There are lockers to leave luggage, but they are a little small.

Very clean. 10 minutes walk from bus station and town centre. Close to big supermarkets.

Do not allow water bottle refills, cups only. Kitchen is very basic - no hobs.

"Good sleep, good price."

I had a good sleep. No noise, very clean. AC was not too strong. 26-27°. Owner and staff were nice. Not so far from the beach and close to the stores and colectivos to Tulum or Cancun. Price was good. Bonus: Downstairs is a store with many souvenirs etc with a best prices in Playa.

AC is ON only at night, so u will not spend too much time there during the day, as is hot. For me it was not a bit problem and I knew that, but it will be pleasant to come to the roam at 8pm after all day at the beach and have the AC already ON.

"good for privet but too hot"

super clean, i took the shared room but I was alone in the room so I had a private room.

it was soooooo hot and i arrived around 10am after more than 24 hours of travel without enough sleep, so I wanted to sleep so I asked to turn on the air conditioner because it was something like 43 degrees outside, and after I begged, they turned on the air conditioner for only one hour, claiming that according to the regulations, the air conditioner is only turned on from 8 p.m. until morning, which is not the hours you can have the air conditioner on. It is a great suffering to stay in Mexico in the summer without air conditioning.

friendly staff and a well managed hostel, they keep it clean and seem to attract more mature people when i was there not a party place which for me is great, small kitchen with drinking water a fridge and places to sit and work on your laptop
