Perfect location according to the price you pay for. They have a kitchen that is nice.

They could set up a fee to let us fill our water bottle and it would be amazing

I Really liked this hotel! The staff was so nice! It was spacious and clean. My bed was very comfortable and had what I needed (sockets etc). The showers were kept clean and were also spacious. The kitchen area was nice and the big room had lalot of comfortable seating and desk areas if you needed to work. The internet was outstanding. The staff was very attentive. Also they had an early morning guy that was super on top of things and unlocked the doors to let me go to a very early meetup. He was very nice.

I had a private room, which had A/C. There are also dorms, but these have no A/C (avoid - unless you can sleep in 30*C).

Property charged extra for having two people in private room. Also, you have to pay in pesos (cash) but my stay was quoted in USD online -- couldn't tell whether I was ripped off at check-in, as the cost was higher than expected.

the staff really friendly. Laundry service. confortable beds, small kitchen. Very clean. 10min away from the beach, but that is good because you are far away from all the noise on la Quinta Avenida, so you can rest properly

The place was clean, run by a family, who are very friendly. It's towards the central part of the city but only a few blocks from the beach. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone who worked there and the people staying there. They even have internal laundry service and offered me a ride to the ferry for Cozumel. I did a little bit of translating for them so I think that was out of the norm for someone who stayed around a week and helped a bit with a few English only speaking custormers.

This place is owned by a very nice Russian lady, who herself has been traveling a lot and wanted to create a great place for other travelers. She succeeded. There are both dorms and private rooms, the place is very clean, the staff is very polite and helped me with any questions I had (I speak Spanish so no idea if they speak English as well), the internet is very strong. The location is 5-10 min walk from the bus stations (Alterna and Turistica), there are many restaurants around, laundry place right next door, several big supermarkets, 5th Ave is a short walk down the street. The private room I stayed in had AC, fridge and a TV, the bathroom was well equipped and there was hot water (if you really need it in the Playa climate). There was a communal kitchen as well, in case you really want to cook your own food in Mexico. I stayed in Mexico for 2 weeks and in Central America for a month so far, Alme was certainly one of the best places I booked!

There is water, but you are only allowed to use glasses, you cannot fill a larger bottle. This is inconvenient if you get thirsty at night, but the owner said people were abusing the free water, so I kind of understand her point.

I liked that the hostel was quiet
