Dream Ville is the most incredible and creative hostel I have visited. In the midst of the mountains, the hosts were so kind and helpful. They gave us the best advice for places to visit as well as transport options to go around Ella. The homemade food was absolutely incredible! The most delicious Sri Lankan food I have ever had! You MUST stay here if in Ella. Surrounded by nature and felt like home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hostel owned by an amazing person. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and at home. The breathtaking view from the hostel was simply mesmerizing, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the delicious food served at the hostel. The meals were prepared with love and care, showcasing the best in homemade delicacies. We were just amazed by the view from the hostel. The dorms are semi-outdoors, but we felt completely safe and also the temperatures at night were pleasant. Sham and her husband put so much effort into this place. There are so many chill out places on the property with incredible views that you almost don‘t want to leave this place. The hostel also offers delicious breakfast and dinner.

The hostel is located in the middle of nature and outside of Ella (30 minutes by tuktuk). But this was not a problem for us, because we enjoyed the tranquility of this area.

Most incredible place ever. Especially for nature lovers seeking an off the beaten track experience. The passion, attention to detail and effort put in here is inspiring. Sham and Nishan are great owners, they organize transport, cook great food and go the extra mile with a smile! Sham kept helping me with the rest of my trip even after I left Dream Ville. The view is the best I've seen, waking up to critters all around, you will fall in love with Dream Ville. It's the one place in Ella I would gladly return to!

It takes 20 minutes to get to from Ella City, but it's so worth it.

The hostess was super friendly and helpful. She made us the most delicious meals each day and allowed us to use the pool at the property which we enjoyed profusely . The view was amazing and we appreciated waking up to the sound of the waterfall and birds singing. The whole property was super clean and we could really see the host’s personalities coming through the decor. Its a super special place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay around Ella.

The wifi was patchy like everywhere else in Sri Lanka. Nothing else, it was all amazing!

The stay was perfect. The place is absolutely breathtaking. The facilities are clean and very nicely done. I have eaten here several times and the food was also excellent. The owners are incredibly friendly and made my stay very enjoyable. They showed me hidden places in the area. I felt at home here because of the atmosphere they created.
