Great location! Lots of options for food and drink nearby, but still on a nice quiet street. Very easy to walk to a lot of cool stuff.

We had the private room, which was located right off of the living room. This was awkward as there was always someone asleep on the couch or watching a movie (not the other guests), and we constantly felt like we were intruding. Bed was a little hard. Probably not enough bathrooms for the number of guests.

The hot water is hard to get and intermitent, the bathroom facilities could be improved, the.matresses are a torture

The hostel could have been a little bit cleaner (it’s not dirty though!). The wifi didn’t reach the back bedroom. And there needs to be better access to drinking water

Great location which was the reason for choosing this property. Let us crash on the couches in the common room when we arrived at 5am due to flight. Can email the owner/partner directly with a complaint rather than going through the helper or manager. Contact details in the room.

Pictures look great but... helpers (when paid staff are not on site) let selfish/inconsiderate other guests party till late. Left after the first night as party of about 10 people (including non guests) in the common room outside the room until 12:30am. Was trying to sleep to get over 7 hours time difference. After saying they were too loud they then moved to kitchen area, but because the windows are open/broken we could still hear them and music quiet clearly. They came back at 5am and music started again. Didn't realise the helpers, who who should be keeping to the 11pm quiet time which is displayed at reception, were in this group. I asked if there would be a repeat on the Saturday and the helper shrugged, yeah probably... Never heard from the manager, although the owner said he would be in touch. Also enjoy the broken mosquito mesh on the window (how long has this been broken for?), the fungus in the shower and plastic undersheet!! Memories from being toilet trained... Also not sure how crumbs made it onto the bed before we used it. Possibly didn't change sheets from previous person??? Paid US$20 more a night in a hotel around the corner which was amazing Kings size bed, free breakfast, clean, super quick wifi, own fridge, aircon.

comfortable, great location, friendly staff. chill environment and great, low-key atmosphere in which to meet new people!
