La Redonda Surf Hostel Sayulita

Very social, easy to meet and get in contact with people. Great location. They offer different activities. The wifi worked well. Fair price. They stopped the party activities around 11/12 at night so that people can sleep.

Reduced kitchen hours: you cannot use the kitchen in the mornings because they prepare the breakfast. I didn't buy the breakfast because it's just food, no coffee/tea or juice included (price of 50 pesos seems fair though). The sink in the kitchen was dirty almost all of the time and there was almost no place to store food in the fridge. I had the impression they barely cleaned the dorms (no sweeping, trash bin wasn't emptied once during my stay). I also don't like when hostels have this "no outside alcohol" policy. So if you wanna have a beer you have to buy it at the hostel bar. I find that just annoying.

Location to beach

When I arrived the under sheet was not changed it was dirty. I was given new sheets to make the bed after I asked. Overall it's a below average hostel. Viajero where I stayed a month earlier had better standards.

Increíble hostel para solo-travelers! Realmente se sintió como una casa, empezando el día con el desayuno cocinado por los voluntarios, yendo a surfear a 2 min del hostel, cantando en el karaoke por la noche... Las habitaciones son cómodas y tienen aire acondicionado, pero la mayor tiempo las pasé en las acogedoras zonas comunes compartiendo vivencias y momentos con los demás huéspedes. Muchas gracias por todo a todos los voluntarios y en especial a Ana por hacer posible este hostel

I slept in 8 bed mixed dorm and had an excellent experience. The staff was nice and there was a good breakfast for a small price. I booked a surf trip with them and it was the highlight of my holiday. The beach is close and common areas are nice.

The storage lockers were on the floor and when I took my things out they were all wet. Maybe water from when the floors were washed or someone had spilled something.
