La Redonda Surf Hostel Sayulita

The room was as advertised, although the spiral staircase to get to it was very narrow. I needed help with my stuff. The daily breakfast was great. There is a lovely lounge patio area with palm trees, and plants, but unfortunately, it was the smoking area, too. The room had a small balcony facing a street and a private bathroom downstairs. Bed and pillows were comfy. The dining/bar area was roomy and lots of tables to sit at. The location was at the center of the most touristy part of Sayulita, very close to beach, stores, restaurants, shops, etc.

It's very noisy, as it's a party hostel. I wasn't expecting that, and there's karaoke until midnight. My room had grass wall, so the noise was intense, but quiet, except for street noise after midnight. The kitchen needs extra sponges. There was only one, very used one. I used paper towels.

Staff super friendly and helpful. My own double room was beautiful and exactly what I needed. Social space really relaxing. Runs great surf trips daily.

It is very loud, doesn't quiet down until around 1-2am so hard to sleep even with earplugs in. The breakfast is fine; pancake day is good (yummy and filling) but I chose to go out for breakfast on the eggs/beans days as it wasn't filling enough for me. Kitchen is small and not well equipped so ended up mostly eating out.
