Iguana Hostel Oaxaca

Staff is super nice and speak english. There is a pub on the roof witch is a meeting place in the evenings (with happy hour). Lots of common spaces to meet the other people in the hostel. The dorm rooms have some piracy with a curtain.

The breakfast is very small and not filling. But a good place to sit and meet people.

Met incredible people here! Especially the volunteers! I got sick (dengue) but everyone was very sweet , offered to go with me to the doctor, getting food, got me a more quite doorm etc. felt like family at the end ❤️ especially thanks to Frida. They should hire her for good! Also great places to chill and hangout. Loved the rooftop and hammocks. A lot of activities going on and great breakfast

I booked a room with a queen and a twin when I got there the reservation had been changed and I was put in a very small queen room to share with my female friend and my dog. I would have NEVER booked a single bed room.

Common area, rooftop chill area, spacious kitchen, location in the city, and the comfy beds! All in all great place to stay in the middle of oaxaca!

High standard complaints here, but I'd wish for more, and nicer lights, e.g. to go down the stairs of the large room, or the lamp next to the beds. .
