"Basic hostel, friendly atmosphere"

Room was in a separate building to the main house so it was quiet though did have to venture out into cold/rain for at night for bathrooms/loo visits :) Was raining and chilly while I was there, appreciated there were heaters in the room and lounge

Minor points: Would have liked a desk or table in the room. A working guitar in the lounge would have been nice too (got spoiled at other hostels :)

I had some concerns regarding the noise levels during my stay. The soundproofing between rooms is quite poor, making it easy to hear conversations in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Additionally, I encountered some disruptive behavior from other guests who appeared to be intoxicated, which affected the overall atmosphere.
