I loved the well stocked kitchen, with a range of spices for use. The showers and toilets were both clean and well maintained. There was a hair dryer station, a relaxing sitting area, and a well great library.

Regret that I didn't have time to enjoy the place more. Next time, I'll make the extra effort to drive out of Christchurch to stay here instead.

Great out-of-town location. Yet close enough to local towns and Christchurch. We chose it because we were to attend the Highland games at Hororata. Nice rustic feel. Lovely garden setting. Amenities very good bathroom / toilet had been recently updated. Hosts were excellent and ready to assist with anything we needed.
