Booked last-minute as a poor weather stop-over, was pleasantly surprised by a warm, well-equiped, spotless and incredibly inviting hostel with very enthusiastic and welcoming staff. Would absolutely recommend and extremely good value for money!

The dorm room was a little loud in the morning next to the road, and could have more bed-side lights, but otherwise absolutely great.

Friendly owners, great sized bedroom (with a great heater - so it stayed nice and warm!) The kitchen and shared spaces felt very homely and the fire in the kitchen/ diner really heated up the space. Facilities very clean and tidy. It was a good place to stop before our trip across Arthur's Pass the next morning.. Bonus that there are cute piggies!!
