Very good bed, spacious room and bathroom, a little terrace, well equiped kitchen, clean, very nice and friendly hosts, good internet connection. I'm very glad we stayed here.

Everything was great.

Very clean owners very pleasant. Advised on a few walks. Which i did and enjoyed including the late night walk to see the glow worms.

Right next to main highway and train line. Noisy. Didn't realise we had to share kitchen/dining/living room.

All in all a very nice place and very welcoming hosts.we enjoyed our night, the peace and nature around.

Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable shared space to relax in. Communication and local recommendations from hosts.

Our room was directly next to the common room so some noise while other guests were using the kitchen in the evening.

Comfortable and welcoming in a stunning location. Beautifully cared for with a clean kitchen that has all cooking equipment provided. Gerard and Vicki are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed reading in the lounge area, slept well, and our 14 yo son voted this the best accommodation in NZ!!

This is not a criticism but a comment for preparation. Bring all your food as there are no supermarket shops nearby.

Welcoming hosts. Excellent communal kitchen, dining and seating area. Great rural retreat - chance to look for glowworms in the woods behind the house.
